How buying a domain works

No hidden steps, no surprise fees. Here's exactly what happens between choosing a domain and owning it.

  1. 01

    Browse and choose

Every domain listed has already been scored on length, brandability, keyword relevance, and historical Wayback Machine evidence, and checked against an automated trademark search - see each domain's own page for its specifics.

  2. 02

Pay securely, or make an offer

Buy Now takes you to a Stripe Checkout page - we never see or store your card details. Prefer to negotiate? Send an offer with a short message instead and we'll respond by email.

  3. 03

    We initiate the transfer

Once payment is confirmed, we start the domain transfer to your registrar account, typically within 1-3 business days. You'll get clear instructions at the email address you provided.

  4. 04

    You confirm receipt

The sale is complete once you've confirmed the domain has landed in your account. If we're unable to complete the transfer within the stated timeframe, you receive a full refund - see our Terms of Sale.

A note on trademarks

Every domain gets an automated trademark-conflict search before listing, but this is a heuristic, not a legal opinion. If you plan to build a brand around a domain, do your own legal due diligence before buying - see the full disclaimer in our Terms of Sale.
